The overall project is a 50 acre sustainable urban community which will combine living, shopping and recreation. The Village will contain approximately 200,000 square feet of retail including signature fashion, grocery, restaurants and services.
Sherwood Park is an affluent community located just east of Edmonton, in Strathcona County. It houses some of the highest earning people in the region, with the average household income of $109,770. Sherwood Park's residential growth has been strong and steady, and with a predicted sustained growth of 3% per year, it is anticipated that the county will be home to 95,500 people by 2010. The trade area extends into Edmonton, and the Village will cater to over 130,000 people.
